Battenkill Valley Creamery is a growing dairy business founded by Donald and Seth McEachron (4th and 5th generation farmers, respectively.) In February of 2008 Donald and Seth began processing and bottling milk on their family farm in Salem, NY. In February of 2009 they started making their truly homemade, super premium ice cream. BVC’s milk is all-natural and 100% traceable.
We recently won the award for the HIGHEST QUALITY MILK IN NEW YORK STATE. We were presented the title on August 30th 2010 at the State Fair in Syracuse, NY.The title was awarded by Cornell University’s Department of Food Science. To receive this award we competed against twenty-three milk producers, from Saratoga Springs to Buffalo, NY. Battenkill Valley Creamery is the first Farmer/Producer/Bottler to ever receive this prestigious award! We are overjoyed and extremely honored to have won this award.
