What is your current delivery area?
We are currently in Saratoga Springs, NY and the surrounding areas of Ballston Spa, Wilton, Malta, and Gansevoort.
*We do not cover the whole area of each place stated above.* If you live in one of the above areas please fill out a “New Customer” account and we will see if your address falls into our delivery routes. Someone from BVC will contact you within a week of signing up.
If you do not live in our “current delivery area” and are interested in the service please email marketing@battenkillcreamery.com (include your name, full address, phone number, and email) we will keep you on file and contact you when we expand to your area.
When are Orders Due?
Orders need to be submitted by 11am every Sunday.
Is There A Minimum Order?
Yes. There is a minimum order of 3 items. (This does not include anything that falls under the “milk’s companions” category.)
Is There A Delivery Charge?
Yes. There is a $3.50 delivery fee per delivery. (You only pay the delivery fee when you receive an order, if you do not order one week, you do not pay a delivery fee.)
What Is Your Billing Cycle?
Our billing cycle is weekly. You will receive an invoice for the previous week’s delivery at the time of delivery. Please put the cash or check in an envelope or Ziploc bag with your name on it. Or you can sign up to use a credit card. We process the payment by credit card monthly. On the first Wednesday of the month, we email your statement and on the second Wednesday we charge your card.
How Do I Place An Order?
Sign up and place your order on our website. If you do not have access to a computer you can call (518) 854-9400. To provide the freshest milk, we appreciate orders to be placed 2 days before your delivery day.
What Should I Do If I Do Not Need A Delivery?
You should click on the “Pause” box on the order form OR email marketing@battenkillcreamery.com
What If I Am Not Home For A Delivery?
If you will not be home, please leave an ice pack in your cooler or milk box. Please keep coolers in a shaded place.
How Long Does Milk Stay Fresh?
When handled properly, our milk will stay fresh for 10-14 days. Please remember, it is the customer’s responsibility to remove the milk from the milk box promptly and to store it at a temperature of 36 degrees (preferably not on the door of the fridge, as this is the warmest spot.)
About Our Glass Bottles…..
Please be sure to thoroughly rinse and return all glass bottles. Our glass bottles are washed, sterilized and are refilled to help protect our environment. Please do not return bottles with caps on.
Holiday Deliveries:
We deliver on most holidays, however, we do not deliver on the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. If your delivery is affected, we will email and post changes on Facebook.
Does Battenkill Creamery Use Growth Hormones:
NO. We do not use RBGH on our cows, and since we only use milk from our own family farm we can guarantee this. We are the only dairy producing and bottling our milk and can guarantee the highest quality product.
